COMMERCIAL
Working as a team with architects, engineers, planners, and developers we endeavor to create spaces and site relationships that uniquely meet the desires of our clients and fulfill the needs of people who frequent these places. These landscape spaces include entry plazas at commercial centers, outdoor cafe's, retail shopping promenades as well as areas for relaxation outside of business offices. Our planning process emphasizes owner participation and draws on the experiences of the people and communities directly involved with the project. Special attention is given to program development, site analysis and user group participation. Our firm strives to design commercial places that are inviting to the local community and connect with the regional landscape.

RESIDENTIAL
Our office is dedicated to one on one design development with homeowners. Through understanding our clients’ unique landscape needs and responding with imaginative and integrative ideas, we strive to heighten the homeowner’s living experience by creating strong connections between home and landscape. We pride ourselves in our award winning capabilities and understand that attention to detail is essential to design success. These details are found in the elements that comprise any design: from decks, patios, pools, and pergolas to perennial borders, stone walls, garden paths and play areas.

HOUSING
We design many types of housing, from subdivisions to resorts to affordable housing. Our projects seek to develop large, quality outdoor spaces while achieving the highest sustainable densities. Our office takes an active role in all stages of the development process: from the initial acquisition of land to final construction. Being involved from the very beginning allows us to influence designs for road layout, lot arrangement, building siting, open space creation, and parking location. Because of this deep involvement in the entire design process, our housing projects are precedent-setting models in the community. We create beautiful and functional places that families, children and adults of all ages enjoy.

MASTER PLANNING
Our master planning process is extensive and methodical. We participate in workshops with planners, community members, architects and developers to collect information and establish land use priorities and goals through financial models, environmental impact studies, land use diagrams, and illustrative drawings. We seek to reveal the opportunities of each site through careful analysis and integrative thinking. The results of this thorough process are designs that strive to weave historical, ecological, economic, social and aesthetic issues specific to each site into a suitably balanced Master Plan.
