A tall fountain punctuated the center of the market for years, but its leaky dilapidated state required that it be replaced. The new fountain with a lower rounded form would lend itself best to circulation, while the materials would have to be classic and timeless to keep with the history of the place. A more open floor plan brings sunshine, warmth, and airy feel back to the old public market.
